Purchasing

How do I purchase a rug?

Exquisite Rugs is a wholesaler, which means we only sell to trade professionals (ie: retail stores, architects, interior designers). If you’re a trade professional, and would like to purchase a rug, apply to become a dealer. If you’re an end consumer, Contact Us and we can direct you to one of our fine retail or design partners.

I would like to purchase wholesale, how do I open an account?

Exquisite Rugs does not offer public prices lists. To receive a price list, you must fill out our Exquisite Rugs Dealer inquiry form and an Exquisite Rugs representative will contact you with pricing information.

Do you offer trade pricing?

You must have a registered Exquisite Rugs account for wholesale pricing. Please contact us and a dedicated sales representative will contact you with exclusive to-the-trade pricing information.

Is there an order minimum?

No; there is not an opening order or re-order minimum. We require a minimum order to become a full stocking dealer.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. We can provide samples in select designs of most rug collections and are provided based on availability.  Please note, a refundable deposit is charged per sample and the customer is responsible for all freight charges associated with the receipt and return of all samples. We require that a credit card authorization form be on file prior to shipment.

Where do I return my sample?

Samples must be returned in the same condition in which they are received to be eligible for deposit refund. Please return samples to:

Do you make custom rugs?

Yes. Exquisite Rugs offers customization, including custom size, color and shape, for nearly all of our rug collections.Click the link to start the customization process . Once completed, please email the form to your dedicated sales representative to start the customization process.

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?

In stock rugs typically ship within 2-3 business days of the original order. ETAs will be given for special order rugs.

When will my order arrive?

Delivery times from our distribution center to its destination range from are between 3-10 business days depending on delivery location. *Please note, all delivery times are estimates, special order rugs, in particular, can take longer than the quoted time to produce and ship to our distribution center. Our dedicated sales representatives will be in touch to confirm ETAs and delivery dates.

I need my rug sooner, can I expedite the shipping?

Yes. Expedited shipping rates will apply. Please contact your dedicated sales representative to upgrade your shipping method.

How much will it cost to ship my rug/sample?

  • Prepaid Ground Freight by Courier or LTL service as necessary = shipping prices may vary.
  • Prepaid Ground Freight for Sample sizes = shipping prices may vary.
  • Expedited Freight, Home Delivery available for additional price.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Please open and inspect your package within 24 hours of delivery. If there are any issues with your order, please keep all of the original packaging materials and contact Customer Service immediately 310-308-8283. Be sure to note any obvious signs of damage such as torn packaging, rips, etc.

Rugs in original condition may be returned within 7 days of receipt. Rugs must be returned unused and in their original packaging. We require that all shipments be sent back with a traceable return number and proper insurance. Once the rug is inspected by Exquisite Rugs, a credit (not including shipping) for the rug will be issued. Exquisite Rugs does not accept returns on any item after 60 days from receipt. Returns are subject to re-stocking fees.

Please note: Returns cannot be processed without a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number for an eligible item, please contact Customer Service 310.308.8283.

I purchased an Exquisite Rug from an associated retailer, how do I return it?

Please contact the store in which the rug was purchased and they will gladly offer assistance as necessary.

General Questions

How do I check stock?

We updated inventory on our website on a regular basis. Though inventory levels and ETA’s for out-of stock items are available to see on each product page, we recommend you contact your dedicated sales representative for to confirm availability.

Are the rug colors displayed on your website accurate?

The rugs are represented on our website with images in the most accurate colors as able. Please note, differences in computer monitors may affect the color represented. We cannot be held accountable for the discrepancy in color your screen displays and the actual color of the product. Please also note, given the artisan crafted nature of our products, slight variations in dye lots and shading are inherent to the design. Likewise, patterns and/or colors may vary slightly, according to size.

Are the products listed on your website true to size?

We do our best to provide you with an accurate measurement of each product. Please note, a slight variation in lengths and widths may occur due to the handmade nature of our rugs. Though the size you receive may not reflect the published dimensions, this is not a manufacturing defect. The average variation is approximately 5%.

Can you send me a catalog?

Currently, we do not have a print catalog to distribute. You can view our digital catalogs available to print here. Additionally, our comprehensive rug collection can be viewed on our website and is searchable by color, size, style, quality, fiber
